Plans for 2011!

New Species!

We are cutting back on our Hahn's Macaws, and other New World species and focusing more on the Poicephalus birds. To that end, we are planning to offer Red-Bellieds, Orange vested Senegals, and Meyers Parrots as well as Timneh Greys in 2010-2011.

Step 2: Health Guarantee

We love our babies and want them to be happy and healthy when they leave us, and after! We do everything possible to provide proper nutrition, a clean environment, and veterinary supervision to ensure that you will receive the healthiest bird possible from us.

Flights of Fantasy Aviary warrants that, at the time of delivery, the bird(s) are in good health, with no symptoms of disease or parasites. We guarantee the bird(s) to be free of viral infections, pathogenic bacterial infections, fungal infections and of all congenital defects.

Buyer is encouraged to have the bird(s) examined by a licensed avian veterinarian of his/her choice within 7 business days from the time of delivery to verify the health of the bird(s). If, during this period, the bird(s) are found to have a condition which affects their health or well-being as determined by the examining Avian veterinarian, all laboratory tests and results shall be made available to Flights of Fantasy Aviaries' attending veterinarian who must concur with the diagnosis. Upon verification of this condition, and upon return of the bird(s), Flights of Fantasy Aviary agrees, at it's discretion, to either refund to buyer the full purchase price or replace said bird(s) with bird(s) of the same species, sex (if known) and approximate age.

This guarantee is void if leg band(s) have been removed.

If a bird should die, it must be submitted to an avian veterinarian for necropsy and histology within 24 hours of death. It must be kept refrigerated but not frozen. We are not responsible for any airfreight charges nor veterinary charges after birds leave our facility.

We do not consider a slight growth of gram negative bacteria post-shipping to be disease but recognize that this is a stress-related reaction to being shipped.

In the event buyer fails to have the bird(s) examined by a veterinarian within stated 7 day period after delivery, then buyer understands and agrees that the sale is one of "as is" condition.

If required by your state, Veterinary Health Certificate available at additional cost of $50.00.
