Well it's the end of Spring and we're well into the molting season
and the sweltering season! When the fall winds start to blow, that's
when our African birds start coming into their season. So keep checking
back for Senegals, Meyers, Red-Bellieds and more!
We have one Congo baby hatched and growing like a weed! He or she isn't
quite available as I have a waiting list for my Congos, but you never
know! This baby is from my big silver pair "Fred and Wilma". They make
huge babies that are a light silvery grey. Gorgeous pair that makes
stunning, adorably friendly babies.

We also have 3 Sun Conure babies still available! Gender is pending on
these beauties, but we'll know next week!
Our single White Bellied baby is also getting gender tested, and if it's
a female, then it's sold. However, if it's a male, it's available! This
baby is already adorable and will be harness trained - like all my
babies!
It's Molting Time!
For a lot of birds in the US, now is the time you'll see molting
beginning. Now is the time to be extra careful when opening doors when
we enter and exit the house. With newly grown in flight feathers, it's
very important to check your birds wings so you don't end up losing your
beloved companion. The second thing that comes with molting is more bird
danger which can clog up the vent filters in our homes. So, seeing it's
Spring, don't forget to give your filters a once over and change them if
needed - your allergies will appreciate it!
I always worry when I go in and out of my home, as the majority of my
birds are flighted. I have found a wonderful aid in stopping a bird from
escaping out the front door! It's simple, easy to use, and not only does
it keep your feathered companion in, it keeps flies out when entering
and exiting the house. Check out this cheap and easy way to put up a
barrier for your front or back door!

What
do I feed my birds?
I get asked this a lot, and unerringly point them to the page where I
keep my diet information. But, being spring and seeing the abundance of
fresh foods starting to hit the market, I thought I'd recap what I like
to feed all my birds - breeders, babies and pets! You can find this
information
